"New" Car!!

Yesterday we finally got another vehicle! I no longer will have to get up at 2 am to take Casey to work, we are so excited! The best part is we got what we really wanted! I am so very thankful that my husband is so wonderful to me!

We got a 2008 Ford Edge. It is new to us but we got it used. Here is a picture for those of you who dont know what it looks like. Ours is silver just like this one, with black and tan interior! It is so roomy and fits in the garage perfect! Haha!

Pictures of our house

Here are a few pictures of our house. This was my first attempt to add pictures to a blog and I am still very confused by it all, so bare with me! We do have two other bedrooms in the house but we are using one as an office/guitar room for Casey and the other room will be a spare bedroom until we have a baby and than it will be a nursery! Hope you enjoy the pics!

We Love Him!

As if moving isn't exciting and stressful enough, on Monday we went to the Fertility Doctor, and we must say that we love him! If you know me you know I don't do anything easy, so why wouldn't I schedule this after the big move!

He made a very uncomfortable situation very comfortable and brought both of us so much hope!
He came highly recommended by my friend Leah! We couldn't have asked for a better doctor!
What a relief after all the ones that I have seen lately! Someone that actually listened to our fears and desires! He even took Casey back to his office to show him his Yankee stadium picture. (Casey was wearing a Boston Red Sox's Hat)! It was too funny!

He went over the some plans that he think will work best for us to get pregnant and in the mean time while we wait he would like for us to go get some tests ran.

We ultimately let us pick the path that we want to take to get pregnant and we have done that, so at the end of April/early May we will be attempting our first IUI. This comes with very mixed emotions. We are very excited that this is an option for us and that we are able to afford it at this time, but we (probably just me) are really nervous that this course of action might not work either! We are continually praying that God really will make us parents! We would really like your prayers too! Infertility seems like a long and lonely road sometimes, but I defiantly know that I am not alone in this fight!

Till next time,

Casey and Amber

Our First.........................

HOUSE!
This past weekend we officially became proud new homeowners! We absolutely love it and cant believe we waited this long to have a space all our own.It is totally different from the apartment besides the obvious, we were eating dinner the other night and we both couldn't believe how quiet it was. No loud neighbors banging on walls or loud doors slamming and especially no stairs just to walk in the door.

We went to sign the papers on our house on Friday March 27, 2009 at 11:00 in the morning in Southlake.
After signing our lives away, we went to eat at our favorite place, Chef Point! If you haven't ever been you need to go and watch Diners, Drive Ins and Dives on April 6th, they will be featured on the show!
After lunch we headed back to the apartment to change clothes to start loading cars. We got our phone call at 2:00 saying that we were funded and we could come get the keys!

THE MOVING WAS ON!

Casey and I moved ourselves out of the apartment from 2 to 9. We just moved all of the boxes and left the big stuff for Saturday! While we were moving boxes out of the apartment My parents and step brother were at our new house painting my living room wall red and our bedroom wall chocolate, installing a dogie door for Miss Reese and a garage door opener and a brand new front door. My mom called me a slave driver the entire time! My mom, Casey, and me stayed up till 1 a.m. to unpack some boxes and straighten things up before all the furniture arrived! Oh and I had to put up my UPPERCASE expressions, because that couldn't have possibly waited until daylight. Ha ha!
Saturday Casey and I rented a U haul and one of his friends helped him move our furniture out of the apartment to the new house and they were finished by 10 am! They Rocked! Our fridge got delivered around 10:30, which was nice not to have to wait all day for it.

We spent the rest of the weekend installing and unpacking everything. We were completely finished by Sunday night, except for the office, but we don't have a computer desk so all of that will just have to wait a while.

I would love to show off my new house to everyone but I cant. The cable guy came to the house on Tuesday to set up our cable so I could send you guys pictures but when he got there he said he didn't know why someone sent him, they apparently didn't run the wires to our house for Internet or cable, and then he said he didn't know when they would get around to doing it so we are stuck for now with out both. I cant do it from work either because my computer doesn't have a port for our memory card. I will try to think of something.

So very Thankful

I just heard some very scary news from Casey a few minutes ago on the phone.
His company just laid off 50 people!
Good news......
Casey wasnt one of them! We are so thankful that God is protecting us in this time, especially since we are trying to buy a house. I am so very nervous that maybe we are making a bad decision about buying a house right now with the economy and Casey's job security, all I have done the last few weeks is worry my self over it all! But in the end I have to realize that I dont have control over anything and trust and have faith that we will be taken care of in the end.
Casey keeps reassuring me that everything is going to be ok, I wish I had blind faith like that man!

Casey is going to apply for another position with a different company that will allow him to be home way more than he is now and I am praying that he gets this job, it would mean a lot to us right now if he did. It means that we could actually start a family (well a lot easier if he is at home at least) and he would be making more money to pay for this new house I keep talking aobut! Please pray for us........

Great News!

We have great news!
We will be moving at the end of March!! We are excited about finding and moving in to our very first house. We are supposed to close on it sometime at the end of March, I am hoping the 27th.
So if anyone wants to move us down 4 flights of stairs you know where to find me! Haha, I am not sure who would willingly sign up for that torture?? I, myself am trying to get out of moving all my crap down those pesky stairs! In the end it will all be worth it, to have a garage and my own yard! Oh and we get Reese back from my Mom, which I am so excited about! She will finally get to come home to her Mommy and stay with her from now on! I just love that dog!

Other really good news, I went to the doctor yesterday and my cyst on my ovary is down to a 3! That is such good news, it means that my cyst didnt flip my ovary! Yay! And that we are going back on Clomid this month. We have decided that if this round of Clomid doesnt help us get pregnant we will be going to a fertility specialist in May to help us with our dream of being parents! Wish us luck.......

House Hunting

Well Casey and I have been house hunting since the begining of February and needless to say it isnt going so well. We havent really found a house that we really like or that is worth any where near what they are asking for it. Either way the HUNT continues. We have to let our apartment people know if we are staying or going by March 1st, so that doesnt leave us very much time to find one but I am refusing to give up hope! We are going to look at anohter house tomorrow and are hoping that is one will be the one! Please pray that it is.

Casey has been in Oklahoma for the past week leaving me to deal with most of these house decissions and the mortgage people, which is enough to make a hormonal girl cry! So needless to say that I am waiting until he gets home to deal with this. Unfortunately for him that means he has a lot to get done in three very short days.

On saturday we are going to Maddi's 2nd birthday carnival that Lyndi and I have put a lot of work into and I am very excited to see how it will turn out! We are hoping that the weather will be nice so the kids can play all the carnival games. I was in charge of the invitations, carnival stands, cake and balloons. I am for sure going to take a ton of pictures but I still have to find time and the patience to figure out how to post them.

I am also wondering why I am still posting?!? Since my blog buddies arent keeping up with their end of this deal :)
Hope everyone is having a great week!
