House Hunting

Well Casey and I have been house hunting since the begining of February and needless to say it isnt going so well. We havent really found a house that we really like or that is worth any where near what they are asking for it. Either way the HUNT continues. We have to let our apartment people know if we are staying or going by March 1st, so that doesnt leave us very much time to find one but I am refusing to give up hope! We are going to look at anohter house tomorrow and are hoping that is one will be the one! Please pray that it is.

Casey has been in Oklahoma for the past week leaving me to deal with most of these house decissions and the mortgage people, which is enough to make a hormonal girl cry! So needless to say that I am waiting until he gets home to deal with this. Unfortunately for him that means he has a lot to get done in three very short days.

On saturday we are going to Maddi's 2nd birthday carnival that Lyndi and I have put a lot of work into and I am very excited to see how it will turn out! We are hoping that the weather will be nice so the kids can play all the carnival games. I was in charge of the invitations, carnival stands, cake and balloons. I am for sure going to take a ton of pictures but I still have to find time and the patience to figure out how to post them.

I am also wondering why I am still posting?!? Since my blog buddies arent keeping up with their end of this deal :)
Hope everyone is having a great week!

When the Price is Right!

Well as of Monday we are down to one car in the Davis house hold! I never thought that we would be able to survive having one car since Casey and I work on complete opposite sides of town. But someone at Casey's work wanted to by his car and he offered us the right price for it. Now dont get the wrong impression, Casey's car was on its last leg! It needs a new radiator and new tires and had all kinds of cosmetic damage to it. But this guy new all about the problems and wanted it anyway, so we sold it on Monday night! It was a big relief to get rid of that car. We will be purchasing another car but it wont be for another couple months. So what that means for me is really early mornings! I have to take Casey to work and normally he leaves the house at 3:30. So sleep at our house will be non existant for me for a while! If anyone has any good car suggestions we are all ears!
