Our Little Raspberry

Your baby is growing like mad, putting on about a millimeter every day and continuing to straighten out in the trunk. Though you can't feel it yet, baby is moving those little arms, legs and (now only slightly) webbed fingers and toes like crazy. Your baby is no longer a mass of cells, but he's looking more and more like a miniature baby-to-be. Your baby's face is becoming more defined: eyelids have formed, his nose is beginning to protrude, and his upper lip is taking shape. His heart is beating quickly and strong inside his tiny body. Your baby is about the size of a raspberry or a dime.

I have been feeling really tired still and nauseous. I can be eating something I really wanted one minute and the next I want it out of my sight for fear of throwing it up! Casey finds it very amusing and annoying at the same time since he thinks that he has to eat all of my food too!
I haven't gained any weight yet and am very excited about that!

Well since it was a holiday weekend Casey and I went to a few baby stores to just look around and get an idea of some things we wanted and the cost! If we have a girl of course I already have the bedding and everything picked out, so while we were out I started to look at boy stuff to get an idea of what was out there and what we agreed on. We found a few comforter sets that we both thought were cute. We are really praying for a girl!!!!!!!
We are going for our 8 week sonogram appt today at 4:00. We are hoping to hear the heart beat today since we didn't get to hear it at our last appt! We are really excited! I will post pictures tonight if Casey is home, since I have no idea what I am doing!

Till next time,
Amber and Casey

Loving Blueberries!

This week your baby has an amazing growth spurt. At the beginning of this week, your baby is approximately 4 to 5 mm and by the end of the week it has more than doubled to 11 to 13 mm! Your baby weights approximately 0.03 ounces. Most women are ready for the world to know they are pregnant. Your baby's leg and arm buds are longer now and they have divided into segments where the hands and feet will be. The hands and feet also have an area where the fingers and toes will begin to form. At this point of your pregnancy, the heart is bulging from the body and it has divided into right and left chambers. The brain's hemispheres are continuing to grow and the air passages into the lungs are visible. Your baby's eyes are beginning to get pigment. The nose is developing and the beginning of the face can be seen. Your baby is the size of a blueberry or a small pencil earser.

We went to the doctor last Tuesday to see this little star and everything is going great. Measured in at 5mm and we got to see the heartbeat. We couldnt hear it yet and go back on the 27th for our 8 week ultrasound to see and hear the heartbeat! We are so excited.

I am feeling really tired and neasous all the time. I have gone nights with no sleep and throwing up, but I know it is all worth it! I am just hoping that it all goes away at 13 weeks, eventhough that is a long time from now! I am also having really bad gas pains! It is so weird the things your body does when you are pregnant! We have ultrasound pictures and belly pictures to post soon, I am behind already!

I have overwhelming feelings lately of having a miscarriage and am so terrified of that happening! But I know that God has a plan for us either way, I am just praying for now!

Happy Monday!

We do have two other bedrooms in the house but we are using one as an office/guitar room for Casey and the other room will be a spare bedroom until we have a baby and than it will be a nursery! We Love Him!

As if moving isn't exciting and stressful enough, on Monday we went to the Fertility Doctor, and we must say that we love him! If you know me you know I don't do anything easy, so why wouldn't I schedule this after the big move!

He made a very uncomfortable situation very comfortable and brought both of us so much hope!
He came highly recommended by my friend Leah! We couldn't have asked for a better doctor!
What a relief after all the ones that I have seen lately! Someone that actually listened to our fears and desires! He even took Casey back to his office to show him his Yankee stadium picture. (Casey was wearing a Boston Red Sox's Hat)! It was too funny!

He went over the some plans that he think will work best for us to get pregnant and in the mean time while we wait he would like for us to go get some tests ran.

We ultimately let us pick the path that we want to take to get pregnant and we have done that, so at the end of April/early May we will be attempting our first IUI. This comes with very mixed emotions. We are very excited that this is an option for us and that we are able to afford it at this time, but we (probably just me) are really nervous that this course of action might not work either! We are continually praying that God really will make us parents! We would really like your prayers too! Infertility seems like a long and lonely road sometimes, but I defiantly know that I am not alone in this fight!

Till next time,

Casey and Amber

Our First.........................

HOUSE!
This past weekend we officially became proud new homeowners! We absolutely love it and cant believe we waited this long to have a space all our own.It is totally different from the apartment besides the obvious, we were eating dinner the other night and we both couldn't believe how quiet it was. No loud neighbors banging on walls or loud doors slamming and especially no stairs just to walk in the door.

We went to sign the papers on our house on Friday March 27, 2009 at 11:00 in the morning in Southlake.
After signing our lives away, we went to eat at our favorite place, Chef Point! If you haven't ever been you need to go and watch Diners, Drive Ins and Dives on April 6th, they will be featured on the show!
After lunch we headed back to the apartment to change clothes to start loading cars. We got our phone call at 2:00 saying that we were funded and we could come get the keys!

THE MOVING WAS ON!

Casey and I moved ourselves out of the apartment from 2 to 9. We just moved all of the boxes and left the big stuff for Saturday! While we were moving boxes out of the apartment My parents and step brother were at our new house painting my living room wall red and our bedroom wall chocolate, installing a dogie door for Miss Reese and a garage door opener and a brand new front door. My mom called me a slave driver the entire time! My mom, Casey, and me stayed up till 1 a.m. to unpack some boxes and straighten things up before all the furniture arrived! Oh and I had to put up my UPPERCASE expressions, because that couldn't have possibly waited until daylight. Ha ha!
Saturday Casey and I rented a U haul and one of his friends helped him move our furniture out of the apartment to the new house and they were finished by 10 am! They Rocked! Our fridge got delivered around 10:30, which was nice not to have to wait all day for it.

We spent the rest of the weekend installing and unpacking everything. We were completely finished by Sunday night, except for the office, but we don't have a computer desk so all of that will just have to wait a while.

I would love to show off my new house to everyone but I cant. The cable guy came to the house on Tuesday to set up our cable so I could send you guys pictures but when he got there he said he didn't know why someone sent him, they apparently didn't run the wires to our house for Internet or cable, and then he said he didn't know when they would get around to doing it so we are stuck for now with out both. I cant do it from work either because my computer doesn't have a port for our memory card. I will try to think of something.
